International Students Harvest in 3rd Chinese Classics Reciting, Writing and Telling Contest

The preliminary contest of the 3rd Chinese Classics Reciting, Writing and Telling Contest in Gansu Province ended recently. The international students from Lanzhou University have achieved satisfactory results in the competition.
The School of International Cultural Exchange organized the international students in LZU to participate in the contest with the purpose to promote China’s excellent traditional culture among them.
The work Chinese Language presented by Laura Amankeldieva from Kyrgyzstan and Henry Chiemezie Nwoye from Nigeria was awarded the first prize, and the work Dunhuang the Desert presented by Olga Pronkina from Russia and Kamdem Bouobda Thierry Samuel from Cameroon the third prize in the competition. Chang Ping, the instructor of the students, won the title of excellent instructor.
The School of International Cultural Exchange has long been making efforts to the cultural construction of international students, caring about the physical and mental health of international students, and promoting aesthetic education in them. The excellent result in the contest not only reflects the effectiveness of the School’s efforts, but also proves its teachers’ professional and the students’ remarkable cultural literacy.
