School of International Cultural Exchange Held Feedback Report on the Double First Class Project

A feedback report on the “double first class project” was held at room 706 of School of International Cultural Exchange on December 13, 2019. Professor Zhao Jianxin, Associate Professor Lu Dongping, teaching supervisors in Lanzhou University, were invited to attend the meeting and Liu Xiaoyan, the vice dean of the school, presided over the meeting, with the school's Teaching Guidance Committee and more than 10 teachers participating in the meeting.
In order to promote the teaching and research work, our school started the preparation work of double first class projects in 2018, including 8 course projects and 2 textbook projects. The project includes some newly opened main courses, professional courses, selective courses of Chinese language and Chinese International Education as well as public compulsory courses for international students in the whole school and the construction of relevant teaching materials.
The team leader of the project reported what they’ve achieved in the process via PPT for about 10 minutes and the judges raised a few questions and suggestions.The process of each project is smooth and the material assessment has been completed.The teachers expressed that they will carry on further exploration and consideration to better improve the teaching syllabus.
The experts made detailed comments on the reports of the teachers, and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions, which laid the foundation for further strengthening the curriculum construction, teaching material construction and major construction, and improving the international talent training level of our school.
